Queen of Procrastination :)
So, it's about 1:53 pm here and I JUST woke up. I need to study, and I kept telling myself that for like the past three days but finals are tomorrow and I have to cram everything in today/tonight. Wish me luck D:
Schedule for today:
1. Breakfast
2. Take a quick shower then drink some chai.
3. Bust out the highlighters, pens and pencils.
4. Clear my bed and grab the laptop.
5. Study for math final because it's the first in the morning.
6. Take a break.
7. Start writing down all my physics notes that I'm allowed to use.
8. Take a break.
9. Start on my English poem, which should be fairly easy.
10. Cram everything in last minute while I fall asleep.
That should be my day hopefully.
For my fellow muslim sisters!
I found these duas for studying...
________________________________________________
-Dua before studying:
Allâhumma infa‘nî bimâ ‘allamtanî wa ‘allimnî ma yanfa‘unî.
Translation:
{Oh Allah! Make useful for me what You taught me and teach me knowledge that will be useful to me.}
-Dua after studying:
“Allahuma Inni Astaodeeka Ma Qare’Tu Wama Hafaz-Tu. Farudduhu ‘Allaya Inda Hajati Elahi. Innaka ‘Ala Ma-Tasha’-U Qadeer Wa Anta Hasbeeya Wa Na’Mal Wakeel”
Translation:
“Oh Allah! I entrust you with what I have read and I have studied. Oh Allah! Bring it back to me when I am in need of it. Oh Allah! You do whatever you wish, you are my availer and protector and the best of aid.”
-Dua while studying something difficult:
"Allahumma la sahla illama ja-'altahu sahla wa anta taj 'alu al hazana
etha shi'ta sahla."
Translation:
“Oh Allah! Nothing is easy except what you have made easy. If you wish, you can make the difficult easy.”
-Dua for removing anxiety:
Allâhumma innî a‘ûdhu bika min al-hammi wa al-hazan. Wa a‘ûdhu bika min al-‘ajzi wa al-kasal. Wa a‘ûdhu bika min al-jubni wa al-bukhl. Wa a‘ûdhu bika min ghalabat id-dayni wa qahr ir-rijal.
Translation:
{Oh Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from helplessness and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, and from overpowering of debt and from oppression of men.}
-Duah for distress:
"Allahumma rahmataka arjoo falaa takilnee ilaa nafsee tarfata
'aynin wa aslih-lee sha'nee kullahu, laa ilaha illa anta."
Translation:
O Allah! It is Your mercy that I hope for so do not leave me in charge
of my affairs even for a blink of an eye and rectify for me all of my
affairs. None has the right to be worshipped except You.
